Not so long ago in one of antique shops of Bangkok in the street Ploenchit the unknown bibliophile for two thousand dollars has got rare enough book. The book was called «Kingdom of yellow attires: notes about Siamese cultural and community both religious practices and ceremonies». Author Ernest Young, the edition of 1898. If I am not mistaken, «Kingdom of yellow attires» republished all twice, in 1900 and 1907. Then reprintings was not.

To me the second edition of the book of Young was somehow fell into in hands: very entertaining reading, should you notice. In the fifth chapter «Kingdom of yellow attires» the author results "full", in its opinion, the classification of Thai wives consisting of seven subgroups.

In the first subgroup if to trust Ernest Young, «gentle wives», with adoration listening to each word said by the man enter. Their Young conditionally carries to type of "younger sisters".

Type of the second - "elder sisters" or "wives-defenders" - act in a role wise, but delicate tutors.
