With each new year to Thailand comes more and more foreigners, including from . Rather low cost of extremely comfortable residing, affinity of the sea, all-the-year-round summer – that else is necessary for the person to feel happy? Often people who have arrived to Thailand once, dream to return there again and to remain there for ever.

According to the statistics collected on demand of the British Cultural Center in Bangkok, the overwhelming majority of foreigners living and working in Thailand are happy with the life in the country and absolutely sincerely love this place.

As a whole Thailand, especially its capital Bangkok and resort areas PatThaia, Phuket, Samui and Hua Hin are cosmopolitan enough. From the beginning of the eightieth till today in the West and in Thailand many grants for the foreigners have been published, gathering to live or already living in Thailand. Names of these books speak for themselves: «the Cultural shock», «the Admission to Thailand», «How to achieve in Thailand of success» and further in the same spirit.

It is necessary to notice, that in disclosing of one theme authors of the given grants always showed amazing unanimity: whatever the foreigner, whether it be proof feeling of disgust or delight, both in the first felt in Thailand at the beginning, and in the second case its impression about the country is invariably erroneous and is caused by a cultural shock. Swisses regularly gather, arrange invited suppers, treat each other fondju. I managed to visit on one of such suppers where I have met Deniela Mayer, cooks from Zurich. We have got acquainted funny: having learnt, that I from , Deniel have not failed to flaunt the erudition.
